From Wrenching to Wheeling: The Full Circle Journey of USAC’s Most Improved Driver, “Sunshine” Tyler Courtney!

Before he kicked off his USAC National Sprint Car season last weekend (with back-to-back wins), we sat down with Tyler Courtney to discuss his career in this week’s “Walkapedia Weekly” feature story. Beginning with his first race as a two-week old baby at Lincoln Park Speedway (Putnamville, IN), we went over his lengthy career from his early years in quarter midgets and micros to his time spent learning under Bryan Clauson. Now, at 23- years old, “Sunshine” enters 2018 with a full-time ride in all three USAC classes, as he chases the elusive triple crown in a Clauson-Marshall-Newman Racing sprint car, a Clauson-Marshall Racing midget, and a Hans Lein owned silver crown.
